IF TONIGHT'S GAME GOES ON AS SCHEDULED, TUESDAY TOPICS WILL MEET FROM 7-8, then we'll head over to Cavanaugh's (119 S. 39th St) to watch the game at 8:00. If there's another rain delay, see you from 7-9 tonight!
Hebrew school was fine when you were 10. Ready for an adult look at Judaism?
The Grad Network, the Collaborative, and Birthright Israel NEXT are proud to team up to offer sessions just for the 20s and 30s crowd two Tuesday nights a month. There will be two relevant, informal, Jewish topics to choose from each night and plenty of time for schmoozing afterwards over drinks and a snack.
Cost is $5/session or $20 for unlimited sessions throughout the semester.
This week's topics:
How to host a Shabbat dinner, led by Miriam Steinberg (Participants in this workshop will be eligible to apply for a stipend to host their own Shabbat dinners for graduate students and young professionals!)
Kids, Kisses, Chocolate, and other Mind Altering Substances (Love, Sex, and Marriage part 2 - if you didn't attend part 1, you're still welcome tonight!), led by Adi Flesher
Miriam Steinberg is the director of the Grad Network. She loves hosting Shabbat dinners, and loves when other people host them, too!
Adi Flesher is a life long informal educator with a passion for bringing ideas to life. Adi is currently developing a program to teach high school students about mind and brain.
