Discussion of the Exchange of POWs in Jewish Law

Rabbi Shimon Kay, Director of the Maimonides Leaders Fellowship, will lead a secular discussion about how modern issues are resolved in Jewish law. Jewish law derives from an ancient script which is structured similarly to a modern-day case book. The parallels are striking. Specifically, Rabbi Kay will discuss portions of that text which address timely issues, like prisoner exchange and the treatment of prisoners of war.
