Latkes – candles – action! Enter the holidays on a high note with three different artists and a belly full of donuts: politically minded groovy singer/songwriter
Chana Rothman teams up with electric Jewish chick rocker Naomi Less and global Ladino chanteuse Sarah Aroeste to host a seasonal party at the World Café Live on Sunday December 13. Oily, edible treats, menorah lighting and family gambling – er, dreidle - when doors open at 6. Show starts at 7. The night features an all-female cast of musicians merging reggae, alt-folk, rock, Sephardic, and Cuban riffs.
Bump and grind your way to the info table where each artist has selected her favorite projects and organizations you definitely should know about. Attendees are advised to bring friends and dancing shoes.
The Collaborative will be meeting starting at 6pm and going all night! There will be plenty of food (for sale and given out) and Chanukah themed drink specials.
