Ethics of Medical Research during the Holocaust

The Maimonides Medical Society at Penn invites you to a lecture given by Dr. Art Caplan which will discuss some of the dilemmas surrounding medical research conducted during WWII.  He will also be discussing the type of research that went on, which much of our knowledge of modern medicine is based on (ie effects of pressure, starvation, cold/heat, typhoid).  This medical research is something that affected Russian POWs, Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, Polish...
